*side note; Bumpits are small plastic pieces that make your hair BUMP up. Arizona just finished watching a commercial for them.

The Green Giants

Zona's number is 1

Zona had his first Soccer Game on Saturday. He has been so excited to play ever since our good friend Lisa B. called me and told me about sign ups at out local YMCA. He kept asking, "Is today the day Mom?" I really love that he is so excited about soccer. He is very coordinated and grasped the concepts very quickly. It was fun watching the kids run around trying to control the ball. Lisa's little boy Derek is also on the same team 'The Green Giants'. Zona and Derek looked great and seemed to have a great time. They also were given soccer balls and green jerseys.

Pinewood Derby

So this happened a couple of weeks ago, but I've been so crazy lately. I finally downloaded the pictures.


This was my....I mean Broc's first Pinewood Derby. I can't stress how much I wish Billy had been here to help Broc. But I do want to thank the great people in our Ward that helped him with it. Because believe me it wouldn't have passed weigh in if I had to do it. I'm not sure exactly what happened as far as scoring the races because I'm not sure the people running it knew what was going on. It really was a crazy night. To the judges and leaders credit, the race track kept breaking. The computer operating device kept saying, "Close the track to begin the race." This happened right after it said, "Ready Set Go!" And all the cars were half way down the track. So the computer was acting crazy. The main Den Leader was sick at the last minute and she was the only one who really knew how to run the computer. So with all the craziness I thought Broc might be frustrated or worried. HECK NO! He was more concerned with getting treats and playing his NDSi. It was actually funny because he would get annoyed when they wanted him to come race his car. Good Times, Good Times!
