Christmas Season
I love Christmas time. I love the kindness and giving of everyone. Zona for instance loves to share his half eaten candy bar with the dog, his sister, his brother, the wall and just anywhere he can touch. I hope you all have someone in your life that loves to share. I am very blessed! I'm grateful that Billy is with us this year and that we all are happy and healthy. I love Christmas and I'm gratful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. The life he has lived for me, the example he has been for my life and my salvation. I love the spirit of Christ at this time. I hope you all can feel it and invite it into your lives.

Broc's Christmas Pageant
Last night we went to Broc's Christmas pageant. All of the second grade classes were in this Christmas play. They had a couple of speaking parts but most of the kids were in the chorus. Broc had a speaking part and was Elf #1. He was the only one in his class to have a speaking part (which tells you what his teacher thinks of him). He had a great time doing it. He didn't forget any of his parts. Being here in Georgia they have a great culture of singing. The Christmas music is like a baptist rival. It was really fun! Ireland kept getting up and dancing, she really loved it. Afterwards we went and had pizza and Dairy Queen blizzards (I had my favorite which is Georgia Mud Fudge. Which I liked before moving here.)

My Amazing Husband
So this past weekend Billy rode his bicycle like 30+ miles to Savannah. He got there just in time to run a 5k and then a 10k (back to back). This is a huge run in Savannah, Georgia every year. They run over this huge bridge we have out here. They call it the "Bridge Run". Now if it was me I would have passed out just getting the bike out of the garage. But Billy is amazing! He works hard to accomplish these goals. The kids and I DROVE out to Savannah to pick him up and spent the day site seeing. I thought that by the end of the day Billy would be tight and sore. But not my super hero. He was tired but felt great!

Christmas is Coming!
So our family tradition is to decorate our house for Christmas on the first Family Night in December. So on Monday we got the tree out and the kids got to decorate the tree. It was a lot of fun! The kids love putting candy canes on the tree. So on Tuesday morning I woke up to find chewed up candy canes all over the floor. You're thinking, "Zona!" Well that would have been my first thought too, but he was still sleeping when I woke up. The sneaky scoundrel was our dog Sadie. She apparently loves candy canes. So I had to move any candy canes (which was like one left) that was at the bottom of the tree and move it up out of reach. And to think I was worried the kids would eat all the candy canes.

I Hope You Had a Great Thanksgiving!
This year we had Thanksgiving by ourselves. Which we haven't done in many years. Last year we were lucky to be home (in Utah) while Billy was deployed. We had Thanksgiving at my parents house and had a lot of family around which made it a great Thanksgiving. This year I made a small turkey (it only took 2 hours to cook). We had all the fix'ins like mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes (thanks Kim I never knew how great they could be until we went to your house a couple of years ago) and of course pumpkin pie. The kids seemed to like it so it wasn't that bad. I am very thankful for my family, friends and my health. I have been so very blessed and have only my Heavenly Father to thank for it.
Hope your Thanksgiving was great too!

Happy Birthday Angela!
Okay so Angela has been my best friend since I was 7 and moved in a couple of houses down the street from her. She moved a couple times in our childhood but I still made her be my friend. She is amazing! She is married and has 5 way cute kids. She lives in a land far far away from me so of course that sucks. She is creative and can solve any decorating crisis. One of my many memories of Ang is when we were around 11 we tried to toilet paper this boy name Travis' house. It was like 8:00pm (because we had to be home by 9:00pm) and his family came home right in the minute of it. I took off but Angela stayed and helped clean up. So the moral of this story is Tara takes off when you get caught. And Angela stays and helps clean up the mess.
Ang I hope you have a great birthday!
