I took this idea from a good friend named Lisa (she lives here in NC). She asked her little boy all of his favorite things and he had some great answers. So I thought I would ask Zona his favorite things. By the way Lisa's son and Zona are in the same Pre-K class. This is how the conversation went.
"Okay Zona can I ask you what some of your favorite things are?"
"Yeah! I have a lot like......."
"Wait let me ask you some questions."
"Okay!"
"What's your favorite.........
- instrument- guitar, drum, violin, trumpet (we just finished watching Little Einsteins)
- book- the comic (Broc has comic books Zona loves to look at. But we do read regular books)
- movie- Batman (This is not a big surprise but he is talking about the cartoon)
- animal- Saber Tooth Tiger and a lion (Broc loves to watch Prehistoric Planet which the STT was on it this last time)
- primary song- I don't have one, except I have one it's Book of Mormon Stories
- clothes/shirt- superman (big surprise he wears it all the time)
- color- Mom you know (because it's mine too) blue
- food- chicken (I thought he would say cheese burger)
- thing you like to do-go outside and pick up sticks (he would do this all day if I let him)
- dessert- ice cream and M&Ms (we went to Sonic last night and he got a M&M sundae)
- friend- Derek, he has more toys than us (I guess we need a Family Home Evening on what's more important)
- toy- sword (that's why he looks for stick, so he can have swords)
- sport- baseball (he loves watching the St. Louis Cardinals play, with his Dad)
- Aunt- Aunt Hot Dog (I threw that one in there for you Amber)
- Who's your favorite Mom or Dad-Mom (Why Zona) because you love me more than Dad (this is a family joke, he says that to get Billy to chase him)
I love Arizona he makes me laugh with the crazy things he says and comes up with. I think every family needs a kid like Zona.

So I am totally laughing outloud about his answer to favorite friend - we do have a lot of toys - too many, in fact :). And he told me chicken too when we made our books at preschool last week. Don't you just love how their minds work?
SADNESS, i love Zona too and this post made me REALLY REALLY miss him and your family!!! Zona cracks me up!!! Thanks for sharing that!!
It's such a small world. I know Lisa from the Savannah word. I think that this was a great idea. I can't wait to do it with Noel.
{once I can understand her}
