I DID it, it's Done, Now I Have to Do it!

In my ward this past Sunday we had a sister give a great talk on GOALS and how to do them so you can achieve them. Well it really got me to thinking about my Goals List and why I don't finish what I start. Because they're several things on that list that I've started but don't or haven't finished. So I did it......On May 29th I signed up to do a Sprint Triathlon. It is a 600yd swim (in a lake), 17.2mile Bike ride, and a 3mile run (flat, no mountains). I've wanted to do one of these every since I accompanied (drove) Billy to his first Half Ironman. I loved it! The people were awesome and so encouraging. I felt like I could win the race and I hadn't even trained or even signed up for it.

So I decided that most of my goal setting problem is I don't have a time frame with an ending result. So I have until May 29th to get in shape and train for this Triathlon. I have plenty of books that I've been reading to teach me how to train. I have Billy who is a plethora (oh my English teacher Miss Bodily would be so proud) of knowledge. I just wish he could be here.

And now I've expressed this to my blogging world (there's so many of you j/k) so I have to stick to it. So wish me luck!

well, this is a nice suprise. does that mean we can go on long bike rides together...in the rain? just teasing. good luck. you'll do just fine. don't forget the four most important rules. be careful, wtch for cars, have fun, and don't ever beat me. if you forget all of the other rules always defer to rule number 1 (be careful)
